Stitch & Blade.

Etsy Shop of hand made goods by Juleah Kaliski

First listing on my new Etsy shop called Stitch & Blade.

Hand made wooden spoon from locally found Manzanita (Arctostaphylos) wood. After carving and sanding, wood was finished with organic olive oil to bring out the natural red color of the wood.
Green woodworking and Sloyd method.

I was inspired to create this one of a kind wooden spoon, from the old Celtic tradition of making hand made spoons for friends or loved ones, symbolizing your friendship or love.

Sunday afternoon work table view. Excited for the next #etsy item I’m working on. This weekend it’s been raining on and off for the first time in months. Overcast right now, opposed to the always clear blue skies. I can almost hear the land singing for joy.

Rosh Hashanah greetings for everyone who celebrates.

Have a good, sweet year everyone!

Happy Hobbit Day.
Here is a drawing of mine from a little while ago.

Shabbat shalom! שבת שלום
This is called “Eshet Chayil” (“Woman of Valor”) and the words used in it are from the Eshet Chayil song as well as Lecha Dodi.
